I've got a list.
1) I had my hair cut yesterday. I went to the Barber School! Helped out some fellow students! I enjoy getting my hair cut there because it costs only five dollars. They've never done a bad job, it just takes a really long time for them to do it.
2) Played the demo of the new video game "Def Jam: Vendetta" yesterday. I thoroughly expected this to "suck most wondrous"*. However: it's truly, amazingly fun. Jason and I are both really angry about this. A wrestling game featuring rappers should not be any sort of fun, and this game is loads and loads of fun. It makes no sense. It is, however, true.
3) Rehearsal is going really well. This show is going to kick ass.
4) Here's what I did instead of paying attention today in class:
A Room With A View
I draw my final breath and stand alone
As even time's advance within me stalls--
And here above this mass, this gridlock'd stone
The mantle of my dreams about me falls.
I have no time to shield myself from sight
From that which lights itself before my eyes
This star-- creating day from what was night--
An earthly sun that burns away the skies.
I find my own reflection in the glass
In this still moment, realize my loss:
The wonder of the years I've yet to pass
The lifetime of the world I'll never cross.
Then time begins again: a flash; a wail--
And ends for me before I can exhale.
